Lipman Family had an idea to start a foundation. The first softball challenge kicked off 20 years of fundraising.
2003
Brian McCann, MLB All-Star catcher, came out to Wish for Wendy.
2005
Wish for Wendy eclipses $100,000 in a single year for the first time.
2008 -2009
Lego’s Outlawz becomes first team to repeat as champions at Wish for Wendy and in 2009 they became the first team to 3-peat as champions at Wish for Wendy.
2010
BY 2010 WISH FOR WENDY HAD RAISED $1MILLION TOWARDS FINDING A CURE FOR CF.
2011
Chipper Jones, MLB Hall of Famer, came out to Wish for Wendy.
2014
We raised over $2,000,000!
2015 -2016
Wish For Wendy hit an all time high in donations and reached the $3million mark!
2019
Wish For Wendy raised over $4,000,000 and Celebrated 20 years of the Wish For Wendy Softball tournament and Foundation.
2020
Wish For Wendy continues FUNDRAISING to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
